ARPC was formed in 2022, by a group of shooters that lost their shooting venue due to closure, which is unfortunately a recurring theme for a lot of clubs. We gained home office approval on the 3rd November 2022 (ref 1381280) and our small club has grown from strength to strength since. The club is run by a committee of elected members in accordance with our constitution.
We shoot at two venues, Chichester RPC, where we rent the 25-yard range, and Bisley, the National Shooting Centre, where we book lanes at various distances to shoot larger calibres. Our shooting calendar can be found here.
We are affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA), which is a governing body of shooting sports. This affiliation allows us to utilise the facilities at Bisley and we also utilise their insurance coverage for all of our club shooting activities.
Our committee is dedicated to the smooth running and improvement of the club, we run new shooter training twice a year, in March and September. If you are interested in shooting, but do not know where to start, please visit our membership page which explains the process. If you are an existing shooter with your own firearms, you are most welcome to join the club, the process is also explained on the membership page.
We welcome all shooters, young and old, and we love to make sure people have fun, whilst maintaining safe practices.
